Base pay range

$140,000.00/yr - $180,000.00/yr

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a business analyst to help identify, design, and implement automated auditing solutions across US Corporate Audit teams, focusing on Global Markets, Global Banking, and Market Risk areas. The role involves collaborating with auditors to find automation opportunities and working with development teams to deliver supporting tools.
  • You will work with all levels of the Audit team, including Senior Audit Directors and Senior Auditors, covering automation efforts for global audit activities, especially within the US, EMEA, and APAC regions. Supervised by the Senior Quantitative Finance Manager for Market Risk and Automation, you will join a team pioneering automation tools in Corporate Audit, including Python scripting and model-based testing.
Responsibilities:
  • Guide and support audit teams in identifying automation opportunities.
  • Independently explore and develop proof of concept for automation use cases.
  • Define business and functional requirements to translate automation ideas into usable tools.
  • Coordinate with automation teams to ensure timely, quality delivery of automation solutions.
  • Assess infrastructure and skill needs for new automation tools.
Candidate Profile:
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle and the business analyst's role within it.
  • Knowledge of internal audit objectives and how automation can aid risk monitoring and control testing.
  • Interest in exploring and applying automation developments to auditing.
  • Ability to translate automation ideas into clear requirements for developers.
  • Quick understanding of data source metadata to assist in report optimization.
  • Strong communication skills to explain and train auditors on automation tools.
Minimum Skills & Experience:
  • 5-8 years of experience in audit, business analysis, or global markets/risk.
  • Practical experience in developing programmatic solutions to improve productivity and efficiency.
  • Effective communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred Skills:
  • Knowledge of Global Markets, Banking, or Market Risk.
  • Coding skills (Python, VBA, C++, SQL).
  • Experience with data analytics tools.
