Job summary

Timken Company in Keene, NH is seeking a Senior Quality Technician to lead APQP/NPI and MOC initiatives. You will coordinate FAI/PPAP submissions, manage complex inspections, and drive process capability studies while mentoring junior staff.

As the plant lead for quality activities, you will partner with Engineering, Production, and Supply Chain to ensure robust product launches and compliant documentation in Timken systems.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in manufacturing quality with progressive responsibility; demonstrated experience with APQP, PPAP/FAI, and MOC preferred.
• Advanced understanding of GD&T, blueprints, engineering drawings, and dimensional inspection practices.
• Strong statistical skills and use of MSA and capability analyses.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, Project, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Experience with PLM/PDM/document management systems (TeamCenter, ONBASE, CADb or equivalents) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern plant APQP/NPI and MOC processes across multiple projects; ensure milestones and customer requirements are met.
• Lead development and tracking of APQP schedules and milestones; manage risks and resolutions.
• Serve as primary plant point-of-contact for FAI/PPAP submissions and customer meetings.
• Coordinate complex first article inspections and PPAP packages; ensure compliance with customer requirements.
• Plan and analyze process capability studies (Cp/Cpk) and MSA; present findings to leadership and customers.
• Lead MOC workflows: track change requests and collect implementation documentation.
• Maintain product/change documentation in Timken systems and ensure audit readiness.
• Mentor Quality Technicians and guide cross-functional teams on launches and changes.
