Job summary

Timken in Keene, NH is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead project activity, drive quality improvements, and ensure product conformance to internal and external requirements. You will manage QMS, conduct root-cause analyses, and implement corrective actions across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Science/Engineering or related field.
• Minimum three (3) years experience in quality systems and procedures in an Aerospace or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of ISO9001 and AS9100 requirements for quality systems.
• Good understanding of measuring techniques and tooling.
• Good understanding of Six Sigma, Lean, and Kaizen Principles.

Responsibilities

• Program, troubleshoot, and maintain plant digital gaging including CMMs, roundness gages, and profilometers.
• Drive 8D problem solving to identify root causes and prevent recurrence.
• Lead efforts to resolve internal nonconformances.
• Create and analyze process capability studies, machine capability studies, and gage R&R to identify systemic improvements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to execute continuous improvement plans.
• Implement Operator Quality Certification and mentor operators.
• Support L6S Kaizen events and third-party audit preparations.
• Write and revise QMS procedures and maintain documentation.
