Job summary

Timken in Keene, NH is seeking a Senior Quality Technician to own APQP/NPI and MOC processes across multiple projects, coordinate FAI/PPAP submissions, and ensure auditable records in PLM systems while mentoring junior quality staff.

You will drive process capability studies, lead cross-functional teams with engineering, production, and supply chain, and continuously improve NPI and change-management procedures to meet customer requirements and company audits.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience in manufacturing quality with progressive responsibility.
• Advanced understanding of GD&T, blueprints, engineering drawings, and dimensional inspection practices.
• Strong statistical skills with Cp/Cpk, MSA, and data analysis.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365; PLM/PDM/document management systems experience.
• Project management skills and ability to lead cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to present to leadership and customers.

Responsibilities

• Own and govern APQP/NPI and MOC processes for multiple projects.
• Lead development, maintenance, and tracking of APQP schedules and milestones.
• Serve as plant point-of-contact for FAI/PPAP submissions and customer meetings.
• Coordinate FAI and PPAP packages; ensure compliance with requirements.
• Plan and analyze Cp/Cpk, MSA studies; present findings to leadership.
• Lead plant MOC workflows and ensure auditable evidence is maintained.
• Maintain product/change documentation in Timken systems; ensure audit readiness.
• Mentor Quality Technicians; assign tasks and review work products.
• Lead cross-functional change implementation with Engineering, Production, Supply Chain, Sales.
• Identify opportunities to improve APQP/MOC procedures and drive improvements.
• Support internal and external audits related to NPI and change management.
