Timken Company in Keene, NH is seeking an Area Manager to oversee the manufacturing of bearing component lines and assemblies. This role leads multi-shift operations, drives safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements through lean principles, and ensures on-time parts delivery.

You will develop capacity models, manage KPIs, and coach teams to deliver customer value. Requires a bachelor’s in manufacturing and 10–15 years of experience; Master’s preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing or related technical field; 10–15 years of experience; Master's preferred (manufacturing focus)
• Strong leadership, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Lean manufacturing experience or certification; experience developing capacity models; production/planning background

Responsibilities

• Oversee the manufacturing process flow for assigned product lines across multi-zoned, multi-shift operations.
• Develop, monitor, and drive KPIs (safety, quality, cost, delivery, productivity, morale) and annual budget.
• Lead project activities tracking part numbers and communicating status with customers as required.
• Drive safety initiatives and continuous improvement through lean practices and 5S/visual workplaces.
• Communicate with direct and indirect reports regarding production requirements and issues affecting delivery.
