You will ensure accurate FAI documentation, dimensional validation, and compliance with aerospace quality standards, collaborating with Quality and Engineering teams in a fast-paced environment. This hands-on role emphasizes precision measurement and structured workflows.

Qualifications

• Experience with inspection setups and precision measurement in aerospace manufacturing.
• Ability to read engineering drawings, inspection data blocks and method sheets.
• Strong attention to detail and mechanical aptitude.
• Basic understanding of GD&T.
• Ability to learn and execute eCAV workflows.
• Strong communication with Quality and Engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• FAI data entry, validation, and configuration onsite.
• Ensure accuracy and traceability of inspection characteristics.
• Cross-check FAI entries against drawings and setups.
• Resolve missing data with Quality and Engineering teams.
• Support FAI documentation and production verification.
• Perform Mylar-based inspection setups per customer requirements.
• Layout Mylar on magnetic surface plates and check for distortion.
• Identify inspection points from engineering drawings and data blocks.
• Adjust setups using height gauges and fixtures as needed.
