Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Technician, Material Verification and Control to join our Internal First Article Inspection team in Cedar Rapids, IA. The role involves creating and reviewing FAIR packages in accordance with AS9102 and our QMS documentation.

This onsite position supports multiple sites and emphasizes information management, quality data maintenance, and collaboration with inspectors and manufacturing teams to ensure compliant processes.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or AA/AS with 2+ years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Creates First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) and reviews products and processes.
• Maintains quality data records and prepares reports for internal and external customers.
• Uses software to maintain and update documents and records.
• Works with inspectors to ensure quality compliance.
• Participates in CORE initiatives and special FAI projects.
