Akkodis is seeking a Quality Technician II in Valencia, CA to support testing and failure analysis of returned products. You will document results in GCMS and work with quality engineers to identify improvement opportunities.

Ideal candidates have an associate degree in Electrical/ Electro-mechanical with 2+ years in lab failure analysis, experience with DMMs, scopes, and X-ray equipment, and solid MS Office skills. Some travel to San Diego may be required.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or better in Electrical/Electro-mechanical with 2+ years lab failure analysis experience.
• Able to solve problems and use lab equipment including DMMs, scopes, X-Ray machine, cutting tools, etc.
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to collaborate with other team members.
• Good verbal and writing skills.
• Must be available to work in San Diego for a number of months.

• Performing product record reviews as needed.

Akkodis is seeking a Quality Technician II for a 12+ months Contract position with a client located in Valencia, CA.

Pay Range: $25/hr. - $31/hr. On W2 (The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.)

Summary:

Performs quality activities to support testing and failure analysis of returned products. Understands all governing SOPs/WIs for CIS work and performs all work compliant to them. Documents all testing/analysis results and overall conclusion in Global Complaint Management System (GCMS). Works closely with other technicians and quality engineers in CIS. Identifies opportunities to improve the quality of the product investigated.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1-2 years experience in similar role
• Experience in Medical Device industry
• Experience with RF devices and concepts
• Familiarity with SAP and Salesforce
• Familiarity with Post Market requirements and systems
