Job summary

Akkodis is seeking an R&D Technician II Leader in Maple Grove, MN on a contract basis. The role focuses on test method development, mechanical testing, and QA-driven processes to support R&D engineers in product and material analysis.

Responsibilities include pilot and production equipment setup, measuring and analyzing process variables, and scaling systems to meet capacity. Expected to work with limited supervision and contribute to quality compliance.

Qualifications

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience and 1 year of related experience.
• Experience with test method development.
• Experience with mechanical testing.

Akkodis is seeking a for a R&D Technician II Leader at Location: Maple Grove, MN for a contract Duration: 12+Months.

Pay Range: $27/h- $32/h; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Job Purpose

Works under limited supervision assisting R&D engineers, scientists, and/or teams in the development and analysis of products, materials, processes, or equipment

Key Responsibilities

• Design and set up of pilot and production equipment.


• Designing methods for using the equipment.


• Measurement of the process variables.


• Analysis of the processing variables.


• Control of the processing variables.


• Scale up of the system for expected capacities.

Quality Systems Duties and Responsibilities:

• Build Quality into all aspects of their work by maintaining compliance to all quality requirements.

Qualifications

• AA Degree or equivalent work experience in related discipline and 1 year of related experience.


• Test method development and mechanical testing.

Additional Job Specific Requirements:

• Design verification mechanical testing

Comments

• Position will be mostly Test method development and mechanical testing. No CADD work, no Chemistry work.
