Zusammenfassung

Sentara Leigh Hospital is seeking a Director of Quality and Patient Safety to lead quality outcomes and regulatory readiness. You will partner with executives, medical staff and nursing leadership to advance patient safety and performance improvement in a 274-bed acute care setting.

The role requires RN licensure in VA, a Bachelor's degree (Master’s preferred), and at least 5 years of senior leadership in hospital quality with CMS and accreditation experience.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience in nursing.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical management and nursing leadership experience.
• 3 years hospital quality leadership experience strongly preferred.
• Experience leading quality improvement, accreditation, regulatory readiness, and patient safety initiatives.
• Experience with quality event review, root cause analysis, peer review, and performance improvement programs.

• Provide strategic oversight for quality outcomes, accreditation, regulatory readiness, patient safety, and performance improvement.
• Lead quality improvement programs, event reviews and root-cause analyses.
• Collaborate with physicians, nursing leadership, executives and multidisciplinary teams to advance patient safety and CMS measures.
