Job summary

GRMC Garrett Regional Medical Center seeks a Senior leader to direct quality and patient safety programs, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement across hospital departments. You will oversee budget, policy, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration to meet quality goals.

Ideal candidates have a master’s degree, RN licensure preferred, and 5+ years in hospital operations with leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing, business administration, finance, accounting, or related field.
• Master’s degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or related field preferred.
• Five (5) years of hospital operations experience with focus in quality improvement.
• Three (3) years of leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Directs quality, patient and employee safety, infection control, regulatory, policy management, risk management and privacy programs.
• Participates in operational planning and sets goals for areas of accountability.
• Directs budgeting, financial monitoring, and fiscal objective adherence for assigned areas.
• Recruits and develops staff to achieve hospital quality and safety goals.
• Leads risk management activities and regulatory reporting.
• Oversees policy development and ensures compliance with accreditation and licensing standards.
• Fosters collaboration among clinical departments to improve quality and patient outcomes.
