Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Quality Manager for the Voltage Regulator leadership team in Mississippi. You will ensure the integrity and quality of voltage regulators and traction transformers, including manufacturing, testing, and inspection, in line with Siemens Energy quality and production protocols.

You’ll also oversee supplier qualification to ensure external suppliers meet quality, technical, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in quality, testing, manufacturing, or engineering within industrial or electrical equipment environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive plant quality performance to achieve FPY, NCC, and OTD targets.
• Oversee testing, inspection, and final product validation per IEEE, ANSI, IEC, and customer requirements.
• Lead supplier qualification, audits, PPAP, and corrective actions.
• Manage customer quality issues via root-cause analysis, complaints, and warranty mitigation.
• Lead non-conformance management and CAPA using 8D and A3 methodologies.
• Coach quality inspectors and test technicians and support cross-functional audits and FATs.
