Westrafo America, based in Ohio, seeks a Quality Manager to develop, implement, and maintain the Quality Management System for an electrical transformer manufacturing facility. You will ensure products meet specifications, drive continuous improvement, and lead quality personnel across audits and process improvements.

You will oversee testing, inspections, supplier quality, and data-driven improvements while aligning with ISO 9001, safety, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Quality Management, or related field preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• 7+ years of quality experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years in a leadership role.
• Experience in electrical equipment/transformer manufacturing preferred.
• Strong understanding of transformer testing (electrical, insulation, mechanical) preferred.

Aufgaben

• Develop, implement, and maintain a robust QMS aligned with ISO standards and customer requirements.
• Lead internal and external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented effectively.
• Maintain quality documentation, procedures, work instructions, and records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry standards.
• Oversee incoming, in-process, and final inspection activities.
• Lead root cause analysis (RCA) and CAPA processes.
• Review and approve engineering changes from a quality standpoint.
• Manage customer complaints and warranty claims; liaise during audits.
