Siemens Energy, Inc. is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to design, analyze, and develop voltage regulators and transformers. You will support R&D projects, manufacturing improvements, and equipment modeling, reporting to the Head of Engineering in Richland, MS.

You will design components, perform detailed electrical calculations, produce 2D drawings and BOMs, and lead cross-functional R&D efforts while assisting manufacturing with improvements. Relocation to Richland, MS is required.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or similar field required.
• Experience in electrical transmission/distribution and transformer design.
• Familiar with IEEE standards and transformer design parameters.
• Ability to work with AutoCAD and MS Office suite; learn new software.
• Self-motivated and able to work with limited supervision.

Responsabilidades

• Design electrical components for voltage regulators and transformers, focusing on traction transformers.
• Perform electrical calculations on transformer components (winding, core, insulation, heat transfer).
• Create 2D drawings and bills of material using technical software.
• Lead and collaborate on R&D projects to improve products and provide solutions.
• Assist manufacturing with equipment improvements and support drafting revisions.
• Troubleshoot issues and communicate across teams to meet customer requirements.
• Willing to relocate to Richland, MS.
