Job summary

TYLin is a globally recognized, full-service infrastructure consulting firm seeking a Quality Manager for the PM+CM team to lead quality oversight on rail, transit and other infrastructure projects. The role is responsible for the overall management and supervision of the project’s quality program.

Key duties include implementing the QAP and QMS per CTA guidelines, coordinating issues among TYLin, CTA, design consultants and contractors, scheduling management reviews, training staff on the QAP,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or similar with 10+ years in QA for rail/transit/design-build projects.
• Experience with QA functions in transit projects, including structural, civil, MEP.
• Ability to drive quality processes and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Implement the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP) and Quality Management System (QMS) per CTA guidelines.
• Coordinate quality issues between TYLin, CTA, design consultants, and general contractors.
• Schedule management reviews of the QMS to verify effectiveness and drive improvement.
• Implement and manage staff training to ensure adherence to the QAP.
• Coordinate regular quality meetings to review non-conformance and activities.
• Monitor GC inspections and third-party testing to ensure contract compliance.
