Job summary

Amprius Technologies, Inc. in Fremont, CA seeks a Senior Quality Manager to own quality across materials, CM sites, and shipped cells. You will lead the QMS, obtain AS9100, and build a scalable supplier and CM quality program aligned with manufacturing growth.

You will drive policy, metrics, CAPA, supplier audits, and customer quality through a hands-on, cross-functional approach. Travel up to 20% to supplier and CM sites, including Asia.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in quality for manufactured hardware.
• 4+ years managing quality teams.
• Led AS9100 or ISO 9001 certification as QMS owner.
• Strong supplier quality: audits, PPAP/FAI, CAPA & 8D.

Responsibilities

• Own the QMS and lead AS9100 certification and surveillance.
• Set quality policy, objectives and metrics; report to leadership.
• Own document control with PLM and change control rollout.
• Build supplier quality program: audits, qualification and PPAP/FAI.
• Publish quarterly supplier/CM scorecards; drive CAPA actions.
• Support CM and second-source qualifications with Supply Chain.
• Lead cell quality and certification testing before shipment.
• Lead incoming, in-process and outgoing inspection and testing.
• Lead customer quality: complaints, returns, 8D reports.
• Run Lean and Six Sigma projects; hire and develop the quality team.
