Job summary

Blue Origin Honeybee Robotics in Southern California is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead supplier QA, develop and maintain QA processes, and drive continuous improvement across programs. You will manage audits, CAPAs, SCARs, and interface with engineering to ensure production readiness.

The role requires BS/MS in engineering, strong knowledge of GD&T, SPC, and ERP/MRP systems, with a focus on delivering high-quality aerospace hardware in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in science or engineering field.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001/AS 9100 quality systems.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings, GD&T, and specifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for quality engineering and supplier QA throughout programs.
• Decipher requirements, develop QA plans, and enforce lifecycle QA.
• Develop metrics and maintain QA processes.
• Lead QA functions from proposal through shipment.
• Host customer audits and conduct internal quality audits.
• Interface with suppliers and customers on program quality requirements.
• Implement SCARs and CAPAs with effective countermeasures.
• Collaborate with Engineering to ensure production readiness.
