Job summary

Sonaca North America is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the plant's QA/QC system, ensuring continuous production under established standards and customer requirements. You will oversee quality assurance activities, data collection, and corrective actions while coordinating inter-plant quality initiatives.

Requirements include 7+ years in QA leadership, a bachelor’s in engineering, and experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 and NADCAP; Six Sigma training is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 7 years' experience in Quality Assurance in progressively responsible capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Aerospace, Mechanical or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience as a Quality Assurance Manager in technical industry.
• Experience with ISO 9001/AS9100 and NADCAP in aerospace/defense environment.
• Knowledge of GD&T and ability to read/interpret drawings.
• Six Sigma experience and trained quality systems auditor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish, implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Promote awareness of customer requirements across the organization.
• Develop, collect and report performance metrics for senior management.
• Lead corrective action and root cause analysis activities.
• Plan and measure process and Voice of Customer quality performance.
• Lead APQP within the facility to ensure flawless new product launches.
• Oversee inspections of raw materials, in-process and finished products.
• Coach and develop QC personnel and ensure proper training.
