Job summary

Sonaca North America seeks a Quality Engineer to interpret customer requirements and ensure compliance with the QMS across the full product lifecycle. The role covers from proposal review to final delivery and documentation of quality acceptance.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in aerospace quality engineering, ASQ/AS9100 familiarity, and strong audit experience. This position requires US citizenship and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, quality, or science preferred with 5+ years Quality Engineering in aerospace.
• Equivalent combo of education and experience accepted.
• AS9100/AS9000 knowledge is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Interpret customer contract requirements and quality specs to ensure QMS compliance.
• Interface with customers on quality-related activities.
• Support audits and certification activities.
• Create QA Program Plans and inspection criteria for manufacturing.
