Job summary

Suffolk Construction is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to lead the MC Quality Program on large, high-risk assignments. You will plan, implement, verify, and report on quality across multiple projects, directing Quality Managers and quality personnel as needed.

The role emphasizes independence of quality verification, stakeholder engagement at senior levels, and development of personnel, with potential involvement in preconstruction, audits, and recovery of challenged quality efforts.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of progressively responsible construction quality leadership experience.
• Strong technical competence across construction disciplines and interfaces (architectural, structural, electrical, mechanical, controls).
• Experience reviewing drawings, specs, submittals, and test plans; familiarity with IBC, NEC, NFPA, ASHRAE.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain MC Quality Plans, inspection controls, and reporting across assignments.
• Translate documents and requirements into clear quality expectations across projects and trades.
• Coordinate quality activities with procurement, construction sequencing, and commissioning readiness.
