Job summary

Kiewit Building Group is seeking a Sr. Quality Specialist to lead quality on multiple commercial building projects in the Omaha region. You will develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, coordinate with project teams, and ensure compliance with contract requirements and company standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial building construction in a project management role (e.g., Field Engineer, Project Engineer, or Asst. Project Manager).
• 3+ years of dedicated quality management experience on commercial projects.
• Experience on projects across multiple market sectors and >$50M in value.

Responsibilities

• Support development, implementation, and maintenance of project quality plans and processes.
• Assist teams with interpretation of contract requirements, specs and quality procedures.
• Conduct quality assessments, audits, and field reviews to verify conformance.
• Facilitate or support quality training, workshops, and lessons learned sessions.
• Lead or assist with investigation of quality issues and nonconformances.
• Lead Root Cause Analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
• Support Inspection and Test Plans, pre-activity meetings, and coordination activities.
• Review project docs: submittals, drawings, tests, turnover docs, quality metrics.
• Monitor quality performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Participate in customer meetings and project issue-resolution as QA resource.
