Job summary

Age of Learning is seeking a Senior Quality Owner to own quality outcomes for multiple products and initiatives. You will be a hands-on contributor embedded in product teams, guiding risk-based testing and release readiness with strong collaboration across Product, Engineering, Design, and Data.

You will drive automated testing using AI-assisted tooling and modern frameworks, influence planning and design decisions, and ensure exceptional learner experiences through rigorous quality practices.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software quality, QA, or related fields.
• Experience owning quality outcomes for products or initiatives.
• Strong test strategy, risk assessment, exploratory testing, and modern software delivery practices.
• Familiarity with test automation and how it complements manual testing.
• Proven ability to leverage AI-assisted tools, automation, and new tech to improve quality.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end quality outcomes for assigned products, features, and initiatives.
• Serve as the primary Quality representative within cross-functional product teams.
• Develop and execute risk-based testing strategies based on product complexity and priorities.
• Perform hands-on functional, exploratory, integration, regression, and white-box testing as appropriate.
• Contribute to automated testing using AI-assisted tooling and modern frameworks.
• Partner with Product, Engineering, Design, Data, and stakeholders throughout the SDLC.
• Influence planning, design, and delivery decisions to improve quality and user experience.
• Investigate defects, analyze signals to identify root causes, and drive resolution.
• Provide release recommendations and quality signoff based on risk and results.
• Use AI, automation, and tooling to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Leverage production telemetry and customer feedback to improve quality post-release.
• Continuously improve testing methodologies, automation, tooling, and quality practices.
