Job summary

GE Aerospace is seeking an Inspector to ensure quality through manual and automated measurements. You will document non-conformances in Oracle and inspect materials to meet design requirements.

The role requires GD&T interpretation and the ability to pass visual acuity and certifications as needed. Candidates should have at least 3 years in manufacturing inspection, familiarity with CMMs, optical comparators, and a willingness to obtain Braze, Weld and Solder inspection certs.

Qualifications

• High school or GED required.
• 3 years of inspection experience in manufacturing.
• Ability to use hand tools and measuring devices.
• Knowledge of Oracle and Microsoft applications.
• Understand GD&T and blueprint interpretation.
• Willingness to obtain Braze, Weld and Solder inspection certs.

Responsibilities

• Utilize measurement equipment to assure product quality.
• Document non-conforming parts in Oracle.
• Inspect raw materials and purchased parts for conformance.
• Use SPC/SC techniques as required.
• Perform setup, testing and troubleshooting.
• Complete First Article inspections as required.
• Cross-train others as needed.
