Watts in Franklin, NH is seeking a Quality Inspector III to perform advanced inspections, interpret complex drawings, and maintain ISO-compliant records at an on-site manufacturing facility. You will drive nonconformance management, support corrective actions, and mentor junior inspectors to ensure audit readiness and continuous improvement.

The role requires 6+ years in quality inspection within manufacturing, with strong attention to detail and experience with inspection equipment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
• 6+ years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment
• Advanced capability interpreting engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T
• Proficiency with precision measuring and inspection equipment
• Demonstrated ability to mentor or support other inspectors
• Strong attention to detail, decision-making, and documentation discipline
• Experience with ISO 9001/14001 audits and compliance

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced inspection and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods to verify conformity to specifications.
• Interpret complex engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements to ensure accurate acceptance and rejection decisions.
• Ensure inspection activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures and documented instructions.
• Support production flow while maintaining integrity of quality acceptance criteria.
• Identify, document, and contain nonconforming material per procedures.
• Initiate and document nonconformance records and ensure proper disposition.
• Support root cause analysis and corrective actions related to quality issues; provide technical input from inspections.
• Verify effectiveness of corrective actions through follow-up inspections and validation activities.
