Job summary

AGH Industries, a division of Aereos, LLC, seeks an experienced Quality Inspector II to support aerospace, defense, and ground support programs. The role involves receiving, in-process, and final inspections of machined parts following engineering drawings and customer requirements.

The ideal candidate will perform inspections per AS9100D, document results, and ensure compliance with quality systems. This position requires proficiency in GD&T and strong communication on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on inspection experience in a machining or manufacturing environment.
• Proficient with precision measuring instruments with accurate and repeatable results.
• Strong blueprint reading skills and working knowledge of GD&T.
• Able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Must be a U.S. person as defined by ITAR due to export-controlled data.
• Experience in AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform receiving, first-piece, in-process, and final inspections against drawings, routers, and inspection plans.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, including GD&T callouts.
• Inspect parts using precision tools and record inspection results.
• Perform and document First Article Inspections (FAI) per AS9102.
• Verify travelers, material certifications, and required documents are complete before product moves forward.
• Verify gage calibration status before each use.
• Communicate inspection findings clearly to machinists, supervisors, and Quality Engineering.
• Follow AS9100D procedures, FOD prevention, and safety practices.
• Keep inspection areas clean and organized (5S).
