Job summary

Lockheed Martin in Orlando, FL seeks a Quality Inspector to support TLS programs, providing complete inspections of manufactured cables and harnesses and coaching line operators to comply with stringent aerospace standards.

You will execute the Inspection Plan, log non-conformances via Q-Notes, review in-progress work, support audits, and help RCCA activities to prevent recurrence, collaborating with QA, engineering, and shop leadership to drive continuous improvement and compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience with IPC-A-620 and IPC-J-STD-001.
• Ability to read drawings, parts lists, and work instructions.
• Experience with aerospace cables and harnesses.
• Proficient with common inspection tools.
• Understanding IPC manuals and revision control.

Responsibilities

• Execute the program’s Inspection Plan (daily, in-process, repair/rework, first‑article).
• Log and communicate non‑conformances via Q‑Notes; review WIP and nonconforming material weekly.
• Partner with the Quality Engineer and line supervisors to set inspection priorities and resolve issues.
• Support audits and assist RCCA activities to prevent defect recurrence.
