The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or electrical engineering background, 5+ years of manufacturing experience, and strong leadership in quality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 5+ years in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven leadership in managing quality associates.

Responsibilities

• Approval & Compliance: Ensure all components meet design specifications through the PPAP approval process; determine approval/rejection based on impact to production.
• Issue Resolution: Provide rapid diagnostics for assembly line issues; manage 8D reports and the controlled shipping process for containment.
• Supplier Auditing: Create and execute audit processes based on supplier performance and component criticality.
• Operational Finance: Manage RMA procedures with full SOX compliance for quarantined or rejected materials.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify quality improvements and lead Kaizen-based problem solving.
• Leadership: Supervise Engineer Technicians and direct corrective actions and rework.
