KingRecruitingServices is seeking a hands-on Quality Engineering Manager in Newark, CA (onsite). The role leads the quality team in an EMS/PCBA environment, manages customer quality, escalations, and drives CAPA, RCA and continuous improvement to reduce defects and improve yield.

Ideal candidate has 8+ years in quality with 3+ years in leadership, strong experience with PCBA/box build, and knowledge of ISO 9001/13485/AS9100/IATF16949. Salary $130k–$150k, full-time, onsite.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of quality experience in an EMS environment.
• 3+ years in quality leadership.
• Hands-on PCBA and box build manufacturing experience.
• Customer-facing quality management incl. escalations, audits, and resolution.
• Expertise in RCA, 8D, CAPA and corrective actions.
• Experience supporting SMT, Through-Hole, FPT, NPI processes.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001, 13485, AS9100, and IATF 16949.
• Drives continuous improvement, defect reduction, and yield improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality engineering teams in an EMS/PCBA environment.
• Manage customer quality, escalations, audits and resolutions.
• Drive defect reduction, yield improvements and scrap/rework reductions.
• Support manufacturing processes and NPI activities.
