Job summary

ENERCON is expanding its Corporate Quality organization and seeking a Quality Engineer to support and strengthen our Quality Management System across a diverse and technically complex portfolio of work. This role can be based in any ENERCON office location, and possibly remote within the US for senior level candidates.

The Quality Engineer will audit internal operations, suppliers, and project execution activities within ENERCON's Quality Assurance Program, leveraging experience in regulated

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent.
  • 6+ years of quality assurance experience in regulated or engineering environments.
  • Experience auditing engineering design packages, internal processes and suppliers.
  • Lead Auditor experience and NQA-1 qualification preferred.
  • ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and perform internal audits and supplier audits and surveillances as a Lead Auditor.
  • Review purchase orders, contracts, and agreements to ensure flow-down of quality requirements.
  • Review and improve quality procedures supporting the QMS, engineering, and project management.
  • Prepare, issue, and manage Corrective Action Reports and verify effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations to resolve quality issues.
