Job summary

ENERCON Services, Inc. is expanding its Corporate Quality organization and seeking a Quality Engineer to strengthen our Quality Management System across a diverse and technically complex portfolio. The role can be based in any ENERCON office location, and possibly remote within the US for senior level candidates.

The ideal candidate will bring a strong auditing background, experience with regulated environments, and the ability to influence quality at an enterprise level across projects.

Qualifications

  • Must hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 6+ years of quality assurance experience in highly regulated or engineering consulting environments.
  • Experience as a Lead Auditor and familiarity with NQA-1.
  • Knowledge of standards such as 10 CFR Part 21, 10 CFR Part 50 Appendix B, ASME/ANSI NQA-1, ISO 9001.

Responsibilities

  • Auditing & Compliance: Plan and perform internal audits and external supplier audits and surveillances as a certified Lead Auditor; enforce requirements and stop nonconforming work when necessary.
  • Contract & Requirement Review: Review purchase orders, contracts, task orders, and agreements to ensure proper flow-down of quality requirements.
  • Quality Systems & Procedures: Review, revise, and improve quality procedures; support continuous improvement of ENERCON's QMS and QA Program.
  • Corrective Action & Root Cause: Prepare, issue, and manage corrective action reports; perform or support causal analysis and verify effectiveness.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with engineering, project management, procurement, and operations teams to resolve quality issues.
