Job summary

Amphenol Communications Solutions (ACS), a division of Amphenol Corporation, is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality programs for high-speed connectors and related products. You will translate customer requirements into risk-controlled designs and robust manufacturing controls that support successful launches.

The role requires applying APQP, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, and quality systems knowledge.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
5–8 years of progressive quality engineering, manufacturing quality, or related experience.
Experience leading NPI quality planning, APQP, qualification, FMEA, Control Plans, MSA, SPC, DAI, CAPA, and production readiness activities.
Ability to read engineering drawings, specifications, GD&T, and write clear technical reports.

Responsibilities

Lead quality planning and risk management from concept through EVT to production release.
Define quality deliverables, qualification tasks, ownership, timing, and acceptance criteria.
Serve as the trusted quality advisor to Design, Product Engineering, Process Engineering, Manufacturing, Reliability, and Supply Chain.
Lead VOC capture and translate into measurable product, process, qualification, and reliability requirements.
Mentor and develop Quality Engineers, technicians, and cross‑functional team members.
