Job summary

Amazon Kuiper Manufacturing Enterprises LLC seeks a Sr. Quality Engineer to own the end-to-end non-conformance lifecycle for PCB and mechanical part receiving inspection.

You will drive containment, disposition, and corrective actions through the MRB with cross-functional partners, and lead supplier quality improvements to prevent recurrence at the source. You will analyze NC data, develop systemic improvements, and ensure timely, high-quality hardware reaches the production line for satellite

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or related technical discipline.
• Experience in quality engineering or supplier quality in high-reliability hardware production.
• Ability to manage non-conformances through full lifecycle and conduct root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end non-conformance lifecycle in SAP QM from identification to verified closure.
• Lead containment, disposition and corrective actions through MRB with cross-functional partners.
• Develop root cause corrective actions using 8D, 5-Why, Fishbone methodologies.
• Manage NC backlog and cycle times to meet SLA and prioritize by impact.
• Drive supplier quality improvements to prevent recurrence at the source.
• Own receiving quality KPIs and report them in weekly/monthly reviews.
• Collaborate with Receiving, Supplier Quality, Design and Manufacturing Engineering.
