Job summary
Jabil in Florence, KY seeks an experienced Quality Engineer to lead quality strategy for liquid‑cooled servers and racks across NPI through sustaining. You will drive problem solving, CTQ analysis, and engineering collaboration to improve yield, reliability and compliance.
The role requires hands-on factory floor engagement, strong PFMEA/Control Plan expertise, and data-driven CAPA execution to prevent defects and support scalable manufacturing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering is required.
- 3+ years in Quality or Manufacturing Engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on on the production floor with strong analytical capability.
Responsibilities
- Lead problem-solving activities and establish robust quality controls.
- Drive continuous improvement with cross functional teams to ensure high levels of quality, safety, and performance.
- Own quality function across NPI to ramp and sustaining phases for liquid‑cooling assemblies.
- Define and enforce incoming quality criteria and CTQ metrics across the value stream.
- Lead 8D investigations and manage CAPA with data-driven communications.
