Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Quality Engineer (DMTS) to ensure products meet the highest quality standards and to investigate issues across the lifecycle from design to test. The role requires leading cross-functional teams, applying Lean Six Sigma, and implementing corrective actions based on data analysis.

The successful candidate will review statements of work, design plans, and procedures, develop quality programs, and be a Subject Matter Expert on quality standards.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor of Science degree in an Engineering discipline.
• Requires 10+ years of experience in quality engineering or related engineering roles.

Responsibilities

• Investigate and resolve quality issues.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Review SOWs, RFPs, design plans, process procedures, test procedures, and manuals to understand scope and requirements.
• Lead cross-functional teams to determine root causes of failures and implement preventive measures.
• Develop quality programs to address challenging technical problems.
