Job summary

Draper in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Principal Quality Engineer (PMTS) to ensure products meet the highest quality standards. Responsible for investigating and resolving issues, reviewing SOWs, design plans, procedures, test procedures, and manuals to understand scope and function of products.

You will lead cross-functional teams in root-cause analysis, drive process improvements, and support product development and software development life cycle with Agile/Scrum practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an engineering discipline.
• 7–10 years in quality engineering or related field.
• Experience with MIL-Spec, DO-178C, ISO 9001/AS9100 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical assistance and support to customers, suppliers, and employees in resolving issues.
• Lead cross-functional teams to identify root causes and corrective actions.
• Analyze data to identify quality trends and prevent defects.
• Support product development and manufacturing with quality expertise.
• Lead Agile/Scrum activities to deliver high-quality software.
• Ensure compliance across the software development life cycle.
