Job summary

Aspire Talent Solutions in Omaha, NE seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to lead quality initiatives, drive root cause analysis, and support new product introductions, ensuring welded, machined, and formed metal parts meet specs, welding codes, and customer tolerances.

You will partner with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to maintain ISO 9001 standards and advance APQP, QMS, and data analysis using tools like Minitab and Power BI.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering and 4+ years related experience
• 2+ years Certified Quality Engineer
• APQP experience preferred; GD&T knowledge beneficial
• PFMEA, Control Plans, and DOE methods proficiency
• Strong cross-functional leadership and customer/supplier communication

Responsibilities

• Lead APQP activities and quality planning for products
• Develop dashboards and QA systems
• Create control plans and PFMEA for legacy or new products
• Manage product and process qualifications (CPK, Gage R&R)
• Monitor rejects and CARs trends for US COE
• Lead advanced quality initiatives (DMAIC, 8D)
• Oversee QMS certification compliance & audit schedules
• Mentor engineers and train QA team
