Job summary

SPX Technologies in the SF Bay Area is seeking a Quality Engineer to lead the day-to-day management of our quality systems. You will ensure products from suppliers meet drawing requirements and standards, coordinate root-cause analysis, and verify effectiveness of corrective actions under ISO 9001.

The role collaborates across functions, oversees incoming and in-process inspections, and guides MRB dispositions to prevent recurrence. This is a 100% on-site position with some local supplier travel.

Qualifications

• Ten years of work experience in electromechanical or similar assembly.
• Five years in a quality engineering role in electromechanical assembly.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality improvements across the organization.
• Monitor quality KPIs and risk mitigation plans including supplier score cards.
• Report the status of the Quality Management System to upper management.
• Oversee incoming inspection systems and in-process inspection.
• Manage MRB disposition and corrective actions with suppliers and internal teams.
• Lead supplier quality activities and perform supplier audits.
