Job summary

SPX Technologies is seeking a senior Quality Engineer to lead the day-to-day management of our quality systems, ensure supplier and internal products meet requirements, and drive corrective actions with impact across functions to uphold ISO 9001 standards.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Engineering, 10+ years in electromechanical assembly, 5+ years in quality engineering, and on-site work in the SF Bay Area with some local travel.

Qualifications

• Ten years in electromechanical or similar assembly environments.
• Five years in a quality engineering role within electromechanical assembly.
• Experience using MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead the organization to improve overall quality.
• Monitor KPIs and develop mitigation plans when targets are missed.
• Report on Quality Management System status to upper management.
• Oversee incoming inspection and supplier quality activities.
• Perform supplier audits and support supplier selection for quality.
