Job summary

JMJ Phillip Group is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer with injection molding experience to join a leading manufacturer in Tucson, Arizona. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field and 8+ years in quality engineering.

Candidates must have plastic molding/manufacturing experience, expertise in Six Sigma/TQM, and skills in FMEA, PPAP, FAI, Control Plans, 8D, and Gage R&R.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Quality Engineering, or related field.
8+ years of Quality Engineering experience.
Must have Plastic molding/manufacturing experience.
Experience in high-volume/Lean manufacturing and New Product Introduction (NPI).
Strong knowledge of Six Sigma, TQM, process validation, capability studies, and risk assessment.
Experience with supplier quality, incoming inspection, and supplier interactions.
Proficiency with FMEA, PPAP, FAI, Control Plans, 8D, Pareto analysis, and Gage R&R.
Strong statistical analysis, metrology, and measurement systems knowledge.
Strong communication, negotiation, organization, and multitasking skills.
