Job summary

EnerSys’s Rebel Systems site in Largo, FL seeks an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to mature manufacturing quality processes and deploy the QMS for high‑voltage, high‑power products. You will define controls, documentation, and CAPA actions, collaborating with engineering and production to ensure successful product launches.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in electromechanical manufacturing, quality system deployment, and cross‑functional teamwork, with ISO 9001 readiness in mind.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field required.
Advanced degree or 5+ years in electromechanical manufacturing preferred.
Experience launching new manufacturing lines and quality controls.

Responsibilities

Develop and maintain manufacturing quality processes and inspection methods.
Establish quality metrics and data collection for product lines.
Lead/support CAPAs using DMAIC, 8D, 5-Why.
Serve as quality liaison for RMAs, audits, and supplier quality.
Prepare for ISO 9001 certification and system deployment.
