Job summary

EVgo seeks a senior quality engineer to sustain and advance our EVSE products. You will design quality plans, lead inspections, and collaborate with suppliers to drive improvements across the product lifecycle.

You will oversee field service and construction quality for charger installations, analyze data for trends, and lead CAPA initiatives with cross-functional teams. Travel up to 40% is possible.

Qualifications

• Typically requires a minimum of 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of IEC 61851, UL 2202, and other EVSE standards.
• Experience with quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC) and root cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Create and execute quality plans and inspection/test plans for EVSE products and components.
• Collaborate with suppliers to establish quality standards, audits, and corrective actions.
• Oversee field service and construction quality for installation and commissioning of EVSE chargers.
• Analyze quality data to identify trends and drive CAPA with suppliers and field teams.
