Job summary

EVgo seeks a quality-focused engineer to sustain existing EV charging solutions and help develop next-gen EVSE products. You will drive quality planning, audits, and supplier coordination across engineering, construction, and field service teams to ensure reliability and performance throughout the lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years of related experience with a engineering degree, knowledge of EVSE standards, and proficiency in 8D, FMEA, and SPC tools. Travel up to 40% may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering and 5+ years related experience.
• Experience with IEC 61851, UL 2202, and EVSE standards.
• Proficiency with quality tools (8D, FMEA, SPC) and Minitab.

Responsibilities

• Creates and executes quality plans for EVSE products and subcomponents.
• Conducts incoming, in-process, and final inspections to verify specs.
• Collaborates with suppliers and design teams for PPAP deliverables.
• Oversees field service and construction quality during installation.
• Leads CAPA actions and kaizen initiatives with teams.
• Supports root cause analysis for field failures.
