Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks an experienced Senior Quality Engineer for Mission Control to design automated system integration tests spanning ERP, MES, PLM, and WMS. You will simulate production workloads, validate end-to-end data flows, and enable rapid, reliable quality gates across the release train.

In this role you will apply AI-assisted testing, diagnose cross-system failures, and drive upstream quality with engineers and floor partners, delivering robust production readiness.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in software eng, SWE in test, SRE, or related role in fast-paced settings.
• Experience building/operating automated end-to-end test suites for prod systems with CI.
• Strong fluency in modern architectures, APIs, distributed systems, CI/CD, and infra.
• Experience diagnosing cross-system failures with strong RCA and incident response instincts.
• Familiarity with frontier AI tooling or agentic systems and non-deterministic behavior challenges.
• Ability to balance hands-on work with high-level quality strategy and pragmatism.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain automated integration tests across product lines and systems.
• Simulate production workload/data to reflect real factory behavior and detect drift.
• Leverage AI tooling to author, maintain, and triage tests and enable others.
• Trace failures across service, network, and vendor boundaries to root cause.
• Set test strategy, release readiness criteria, and fast quality gates.
• Build observability and environment strategy to turn failures into signals.
• Collaborate with engineers and floor partners to raise quality upstream.
• Contribute code, infra, and tooling to improve feedback loops and stability.
• Support launch readiness, incident response, and post-incident follow-through.
