Job summary

Lockheed Martin seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to ensure product and process quality across design, production, and supplier domains. You will drive quality throughout the lifecycle and collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain.

The ideal candidate will apply formal quality methods, lead investigations, and implement corrective actions while supporting ongoing improvements. This role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level degree in STEM or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret Security clearance.
• Engineering or Quality experience developing methods, work instructions and procedures for inspection of manufactured and procured products.
• Able to interpret drawings and specifications to develop and apply quality test and inspection methods and translate into work instructions / process documents.
• Demonstrated ability to use causal analysis tools to analyze and resolve technical / process issues.

Responsibilities

• Apply quality principles throughout the product lifecycle from design to manufacturing and supplier management.
• Lead failure investigations, material review board decisions, and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop strategies to improve internal and supplier performance.
• Design and analyze inspection and testing processes; conduct statistical analysis.
• Collaborate with program management, engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain on quality issues.
