Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineering Associate Manager to lead a team of supplier quality engineers and drive process improvements. You will collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to analyze and resolve quality issues, review documentation, and ensure compliance with standards.

The role includes leading root cause investigations, participating in MRBs/FRBs, and applying lean methodologies to reduce waste and improve performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in STEM or equivalent
• US Citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance
• Quality engineering experience developing and reviewing quality requirements, standards, procedures, methods, and control plans
• Experience leading cross-functional teams for root cause investigation, corrective action, and preventive action using methods like 8D, 5-Why, FMEA, etc.
• Ability to travel up to 25%

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of supplier quality engineers and drive process improvements
• Collaborate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers to analyze and resolve process issues
• Review documentation to ensure quality products are delivered
• Analyze quality data to identify root causes and corrective actions
• Participate in Material Review Boards and Failure Review Boards
• Perform assessments and audits to ensure compliance
• Engage in product failure investigations and corrective/preventive actions
• Ensure supplier quality initiatives and certifications are maintained
