Job summary

Lockheed Martin is seeking a Senior Quality Engineer to join the Quality Engineering Team in Orlando. You will apply quality principles across the product lifecycle, collaborating with program management, engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to uphold rigorous standards.

The role entails leading investigations, driving corrective actions, and improving supplier performance. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a STEM field or equivalent experience/education.
• Experience solving complex problems related to product quality.
• Experience working with suppliers and/or manufacturing in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform technical evaluations of product requirements, specs, designs, and procedures.
• Lead product failure investigations and corrective/preventive actions.
• Develop strategies to improve internal and supplier performance and productivity.
• Design and analyze inspection and testing processes, including statistical analysis of quality data.
• Engage in supplier selection and maintain certification programs.
