Job summary

DCS seeks a Quality Engineer to support a DoD acquisition program in Warren, MI. The role requires strong quality management, problem solving, and independent work in a fast-paced environment.

You will ensure ISO 9001:2015 compliance, develop test plans, participate in design reviews, and coordinate with government agencies. Candidate must have DoD clearance eligibility and a BS in Engineering with 8+ years of experience.

Qualifications

• U.S. citizenship required.
• Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance.
• BS in Engineering or equivalent and 8 years of relevant experience.
• Subject matter expert for Quality with ability to lead efforts with minimal oversight.
• Extensive experience with ISO 9001:2015 and auditing.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop, implement, and manage quality across DoD programs.
• Oversee contractor quality to meet requirements and standards.
• Prepare quality data and metrics, and support program reviews.
• Coordinate with PMs, testers, and agencies to translate requirements.
• Review test plans, procedures, and reports for assigned programs.
• Monitor testing and drive root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Travel up to 20% as needed.
• Co-locate with the customer in Warren, MI on a full-time basis.
