Job summary

Walmart’s Sam’s Club product team seeks a Senior Quality Engineer to lead testing strategy, design tests, and drive automation across functional and nonfunctional areas. You’ll analyze complex systems and collaborate to improve testing frameworks while delivering reliable, high-performance software.

The role focuses on quality management throughout the software lifecycle, with cross-functional collaboration and a commitment to continuous improvement and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related area with 3 years’ QA/testing experience.
• Alternatively 5 years' experience in software QA, manual/automated testing, or related area.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute test plans and cases for functional and nonfunctional requirements.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve coverage and efficiency.
• Perform root cause analysis on defects and implement corrective actions.
• Map customer requirements into test objectives and ensure contract compliance.
• Monitor progress, provide status reports, and support CI/CD processes.
• Conduct system performance, security, and regression testing to validate quality.
• Document test results, defects, and risk assessments in detail.
