Job summary

Walmart's Sam's Club division seeks a versatile mobile software engineer to deliver scalable apps across iOS, Android, and web stacks. You will implement features, optimize performance, and participate in design reviews to ensure secure, maintainable systems.

The role emphasizes AI/ML integration, robust testing, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to meet business goals while delivering high-quality user experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, software engineering, or related area AND 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
• 5 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery of scoped features and models through collaborative engineering teams, managing implementation, iteration, testing, and support.
• Write clean, efficient, and reliable code across multiple languages, driving full software development lifecycle including CI/CD and automated testing.
• Integrate AI and ML components to enhance software intelligence and leverage generative AI tools to improve development velocity.
• Assist in solution design, participate in design reviews, and ensure scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical requirements and success metrics aligned with business objectives.
• Monitor application performance, conduct maintenance, and ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Mentor peers, promote engineering best practices, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
