Job summary

The Boeing Company in Berkeley, MO is seeking an Experienced or Senior Quality Engineer to support Mission System and Avionics development activities. You will lead quality integration, interpret complex requirements, and collaborate with design engineers to drive first article inspections, design reviews and qualification testing.

Applicants should have RCCA/CAPA experience, strong knowledge of quality systems, and the ability to read engineering drawings.

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science from an accredited field (engineering, manufacturing engineering technology, computer science, mathematics, data science, physics or chemistry).
3+ years in RCCA and CAPA.
3+ years with quality systems (BQMS, ISO 9001, AS9100).
3+ years reading and understanding engineering drawings, blueprints, specs.

Responsibilities

Lead integration of contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements.
Interpret complex requirements and support design reviews (F.A.I., CDR, PDR) and qualification testing.
Develop quality metrics and certification plans for large programs.
Conduct capability assessments and MRAs for supplier readiness.
Provide material review dispositions for non-conformances.
Lead and participate in reviews to ensure quality attributes are designed in.
Develop methods for analysis, testing and audit for manufacturing readiness.
Initiate corrective actions from nonconformance trends.
Benchmark and analyze to achieve process capability levels.
Work under minimal direction.
